The foredeck is home to the yankee and staysail furlers, the track for the staysail’s self tacking system and a powerful windlass for the stainless steel 75kg plough anchor. This allows us to stop in nicely sheltered spots to have a bit of lunch or to go for a swim. Despite all the hardware on the foredeck there is plenty of open space left for sunbathing. And of course there is a “king of the world” seat right on the bow.
